Currencies, where to earn them, and what they're used for
The economy has grown into a broader network of currencies, elemental resources, fragments, boss materials, souls, chests, boosters, and crafting components. This page lists the core tokens — not every miscellaneous progression item is a currency.
Standard mob drops, quests, selling items
Bought at l2-imba.com/donate. Spent at Emerald (premium, Noblesse, Hero, clan level, autofarm top-ups), in Orfen's Donate Shop and as the currency of the Auction House. Not pay-to-win: the Donate Shop only sells gear players can also get in game, and its tiers unlock in waves after the Grand Opening.
2 per PvP kill (TvT included), 1 per PK kill, TvT rewards and PvP / PK achievements — hardcore mobs drop one 20% of the time
Custom farm zones, mini and raid bosses, achievements — every retail monster from level 70 to 90 adds 1–2 per kill. Pays for custom trainer skills and every crafting tier
Each farm family drops its own element (Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Unholy, Holy, Golden); hardcore mobs drop Unholy and epic bosses drop big stacks. Farm raid bosses don't drop them
Champion monsters (3–5 per kill on farm mobs) and hardcore / Pagan Temple mobs — spent in Hades' Medal Shop, or 100 Medals for 1 Glittering Medal
TvT (10 for a win, 5 for a loss or tie, +5 for the top killer), TvT achievements, or 100 Medals at Hades — gates shirts, helmets and every armor tier upgrade
5 per voting site via .vote (Hopzone, L2Network, L2TopZone, L2Top) — spent in Hades' Vote Shop on boosters and Demon Horns
Epic bosses, family mini-bosses, hardcore mobs and chaotic (level 90) farm mobs — needed for Cursed and God's tier gear
Fragments: farm raid bosses (2–3 guaranteed), mini-bosses, hardcore and Party Zone mobs, chests. 10 Fragments + 1 Upgrade Recipe make a Soul at the Smith in Giran; full Souls also drop from epic bosses and the Crimson Abyss chest
Mini-bosses (10%), epic bosses, hardcore mobs, farm raid bosses (3%), Legendary and Crimson Abyss chests — or crafted at the Smith from 1 Upgrade Recipe + 1,000 of each elemental crystal
Mini-bosses (25%), epic bosses, hardcore mobs, Primeval Isle Tyrannosaurs, Party Zone, farm raid bosses, Epic and Legendary chests — 10 fragments + 1 Upgrade Recipe + Legendary Crystals make a Legendary Scroll at the Smith
.deposit turns 1,000,000,000 Adena into a Gold Bar (.withdraw turns it back); also dropped by Lindvior and Scarlet van Halisha. A high-tier crafting ingredient
1 Weapon + 1 Armor + 1 Misc Fragment in Hades' Exchange; also drops from farm raid bosses, epic bosses and chests
Farm raid bosses (50%), mini-bosses (25%), epic bosses, hardcore and Party Zone mobs, chests, achievements — unlocks the top level of custom trainer skills and Sacrifice Path levels
TvT — Golden Apiga for the winning team, Apiga for losers, ties and the top killer. At Emerald each restores 1 h / 2 h of daily autofarm time
One Offensive, Defensive or Utility crystal for each Sacrifice performed at Andreas Van Halter — buys level 1 of that Sacrifice Path skill
+50% for 2 hours — Vote Shop (5 Vote Coins each), Donate Shop (15 for 5 Donate Coins), TvT win or tie, hours-online achievements

PvP Coin gates the endgame weapon, jewel, helmet and shirt ladder. Earned from player kills — 2 per PvP kill, including inside TvT, and 1 per PK kill.
Earned in TvT or traded up from Medals at Hades (100 : 1), Glittering Medals gate the shirt and helmet ladders and every armor tier upgrade.
