Sacrifice System

Give up your level 90 for power that stays. Three sacrifices, three paths, and path skills that grow up to level 99.

How It Works

Talk to Andreas Van Halter (Giran, next to Zaken).

  1. 1

    Reach level 90

Sacrifice is only available to a level 90 character on its main class.

  2. 2

    Perform a Sacrifice

Choose Offensive, Defensive or Utility. Your character drops back to level 1 but keeps every skill and all equipment, and never suffers a grade penalty while levelling up again.

  3. 3

    Receive the crystal

Each sacrifice gives its own crystal. The crystal cannot be traded and unlocks the matching Sacrifice Path.

  4. 4

    Choose your path skill

Spend the crystal on one skill of the path. This learns the skill at level 1. The choice is permanent.

  5. 5

    Level it up

Raise the skill with Skill Stones, up to level 99. Every level adds the bonus and the penalty once more.

The Three Sacrifices

Offensive

Damage. Fighters and mages get different skills.

Gives the Offensive Sacrifice Crystal

Defensive

Survivability. The same skills for every class.

Gives the Defensive Sacrifice Crystal

Utility

Speed, accuracy and evasion. The same skills for every class.

Gives the Utility Sacrifice Crystal

Sacrifice Paths

Each path offers three skills and you learn one of them. Values are per skill level — a level 10 Sacrifice Might gives +30% P. Atk. and −10% Atk. Spd.

Rules Players Must Know

  • Each sacrifice can be performed only once — at most three sacrifices per character.
  • Sacrifice, learning a path skill and levelling it up all work only on the main class.
  • Within a path you pick one skill for good. The other two skills of that path stay locked.
  • Level N of a path skill costs N Skill Stones. Level 1 is paid with the crystal.
  • Bonus and penalty both grow with every level, so pick a level that fits your build.
  • Mages take the mage Offensive path. Prophet and Hierophant play as fighters and take the fighter path. Warcryer and Doomcryer take the mage path.
  • A sacrificed character has no grade penalty, so you can keep wearing your gear while levelling back to 90.
